Naser comes from Sirte in Libya. He obtained a Bsc in chemistry from Sirte Universityin 2012 which included a research project on the biological activities of straglus caprinous extractions under the supervision of Prof. Khaled Abdalshfeeq. In 2017 he graduated from the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow) with an MSci, during which Naser had the opportunity to work on new targets to treat Human African Trypanosomiasis. Since 2020, Naser has joined the Burley group for his PhD studies, focusing on transglycosylation and the development of a platform for nucleoside stability.
