For the first time in Burley group history, the team tried paintball, which ended up with an overwhelming win for the Blue team! For team research work, the old tradition of the “Craggan Wheel” was modified in a way that the PhD students prepared 3 minute thesis presentations and collaboration ideas on the research of the person that comes after them on the wheel. Postdocs presented their plan for a small project on a 20K budget.
